Kantha Bae Button Down Silk Dress. 3 Prints Available. NEW STYLE

 A totally NEW style for Kantha Bae.  If you are a fan, you may want to buy one of the first!  This dress is made from ultra lux vintage crepe silk. Each dress is handmade. The same vintage fabrics  adapted to a shirtdress.  KB is an old hand at the long shirt in cotton, now they have refocused their talents to a midi dress. 

Traditional collared shirt with a KB twist. Front and back both have buttons. One side runs the length of the dress. The other side has only buttons on the yoke. The flexibilty is limitless.  When unbuttoned, the dress can be adjusted to a slouched neckline. The depth of the slouch may be increased by unbuttoning the front panel creating a V.

Long sleeves with a hidden sleeve tab allows for rolling the sleeve, keeping the rolled fabric secured.  The sides are split as a traditional shirt creating shirt tails.  Dress rests at knee or just below.  Customize your dress to your desires. 

As with most KB styles, you are the stylist. Dress can be tied in front, converting it into a shirt. Wear it without adjustments as a unstructured shirt dress. Or, Turn the dress around and wear it with the back yoke in front. Dress looks great with a leather of gold belt at hip or waist. Looks great worn open as a top layer jacket or a beach coverup. 

Due to the soft, supple nature of silk, the fabric falls into place without bulging, puckering or thickened fabric. It is amazing how finished this piece looks, draping and flowing.

Great for all occasions. Looks exceptional, slightly drawn in with leggings or wide leg pants. Add jewelry and you are ready for an evening out. Great for travel, resort, lounging; totally versatile.
