Part of the joy of travel is the discovery of unconventional uses of materials and the new products resulting from nontraditional thinking and an artistic slant. The cannisters and candle holders came from the artisasn town of San Miguel del Allende during my February trip.
I loved the 3 dimensional wine cannisters and candlestick holders. Using recycled metals, roses are formed and attached to a circular base errecting several rows of roses. The effect is quite dramatic. Using candles or table lamps, the rose reflect the light. Beautiful. These wine cannisters can become the centerpiece of your table or anchor each side between a flower centerpiece.
Individual candle holders are formed in the same fashion. These small holders are pliable and easy to place thin candles. A long banquet table can be particularily effective use of these holders.
The wine cannisters fit most wine bottles. Wash and wipe with water and mild soap, then hand dry. Same treatment for the candle holders.
